Riddle Time ("the Service") is operated by Adassa Innovations Ltd ("the Company", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Overview
Riddle Time is an online platform that provides riddles, daily challenges, and optional paid subscription features ("Premium").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your region) to use the Service. Parents or guardians are responsible for the use by minors.
3. Accounts
To access certain features (likes, Premium, saving favourites), you must create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Not share your login credentials
- Notify us of any unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Riddle Content & Intellectual Property
4.1 Public-Domain and Widely Shared Content
Many riddles provided on Riddle Time are:
- Public domain
- Traditional
- Widely circulated
- Not subject to exclusive ownership
Therefore, Adassa Innovations Ltd does not claim exclusive intellectual property ownership over the riddles themselves.
4.2 Platform IP
The following ARE protected under intellectual property law:
- Website design, structure, UI
- Brand name, trademarks, logos
- Platform features, interactions, and code
- Selection, organization, and presentation of riddles
- Premium-only features
- Original written material, descriptions, metadata
These may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
5. Premium Subscription
Premium benefits currently include:
- Access to all riddles
- No ads
- Save favourites
- Exclusive categories
Benefits may change or expand over time.
Billing
Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges (monthly or annually).
Cancellations
You may cancel anytime through your account or the Stripe Customer Portal. Your subscription remains active until the end of your billing period.
Refund Policy
Because Riddle Time provides instant access to digital content, all subscription payments (monthly and yearly) are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and access will continue until the end of your billing period. This complies with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations for digital content delivered immediately.
6. Advertisements
Free users may see advertisements served through:
- Google Ads
- Ezoic
Ad networks may collect certain device and usage data to deliver relevant ads. Premium removes all ads.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Scrape riddles or copy large portions of the platform
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access restricted parts of the system
- Use bots or automated tools
- Upload harmful or malicious content
- Violate any applicable laws
Violation may result in suspension.
8. Availability
We aim to provide consistent uptime, but the Service may be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues. We are not liable for downtime.
9. Modifications to the Service
We may update, modify, or discontinue features (including Premium features) at any time.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend accounts for violations or security concerns. You may delete your account at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is"
- We are not responsible for any damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
- We do not guarantee accuracy or availability
Use at your own risk.
